Deep Conditioning Treatment by Rene Furterer

The Tucson Hair Salon know as Shagg is proud to offer a 3 stage conditioning treatment by Rene Furterer.  The treatment uses the Karite products.  First you spray the hair with Intense Nutrition Oil and let that stay in the hair 5-10 minutes.  The oil hydrates while providing nutrition and protection to the scalp and hair.  Next you shampoo the hair with the Intense Nourishing Shampoo which has Shea butter to restructure the hair.  Last you apply the Intense Nourishing Conditioning Cream for 10-20 minutes.  The conditioner is rich in Essential Fatty Acids that restructure and nourish the hair.  When done you will have amazing renewed feeling hair.

Best Hair Colorist in Tucson

I would like to talk about color.  Lately we have had a lot of new people who are very apprehensive about color.  This nervousness is usually due to bad past experiences and usually justified.  Tami, the owner of Shagg Hair Salon has quite a background when it comes to color application and I feel informing people might make their initial apprehensions lighten.  In 1998 Steve Wynn opened The Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  He spent millions of dollars on the salon in The Bellagio.  He decided to sublease out the salon to the Prive Salon owned by Laurent Dufourg.  Laurent is a world renowned hair stylist who does many famous actors and has several hair salons around the country (Florida, New York, and Los Angeles).  When Prive started auditioning several months before The Bellagio opening they used the salon at Treasure Island. Treasure Island is one of the hotels in the Mirage Resorts family.  Tami obtained an audition along with countless others who flew in from all over the country.  Laurent and his staff audition applicants for several weeks.  At Prive the employees either worked as a stylist or a colorist.  Tami decided to audition to be a colorist.  The audition was quite stressful as you could imagine.  This was a very desirable employment opportunity.    Tami auditioned with many other people and was told she would be called if Prive was to offer her a position.  The next day Tami was called and offered one of 4 colorist positions.  Working at Bellagio in the Prive Salon allowed Tami to focus on color and take her skills to a very high level.  The Bellagio Salon experience was invaluable.  

New Okara Formula at Shagg Tucson

We received the new Okara Color Protecting Shampoo and conditioner at Shagg Hair Salon in Tucson.  The new formula is great.  My wife got 4 shampoos out of the sample size.  It foams up better than the last one which makes it even more cost effective.  Also now both the shampoo and conditioner are 80% color protecting.  Together with the leave in conditioner this line can't be beat.  Great stuff.  Let us know what your results have been.  Thanks for reading.

Silver Hair Miracle at Shagg

We just received our first feedback on Okara Mild Silver Shampoo from Rene Furterer.  Shagg Hair Salon in Tucson is the only salon to carry it.  The shampoo makes hair super shiny and removes yellow and brassy tones. Our first customer to use the shampoo came in today for a haircut and her hair looked amazing.  The other fantastic thing about Rene Furterer products is they are very concentrated and it only takes a little bit;  thus making them more cost effective.  The Okara line of hair products from Rene Furterer is fantastic.  They just reformulated Okara to make them even better.

Best Tucson Hair Stylist

Here at Shagg we believe Tami is the best hairstylist.  Tami has been working in the hair business for over 25 years.  Her father was a barber and trained her to cut when she was only 13 years old.  By the time Tami got to cosmetology school she was already a experience stylist.  Since finishing her education she has amassed an amazing amount of experience in the industry.  She worked at The Mirage Hotel Salon in Las Vegas during the nineties when The Mirage was the top hotel in Las Vegas, this was before Bellagio, MGM, Venetian, and Mandalay Bay.  The client base that visited The Mirage was amazing.  Tami then obtained a position as a colorist at The Prive Salon (owned and operated by Laurent Deforge) at The Bellagio Hotel.  This was at the time the highest end salon ever built.  This experience made her an exceptional stylist.

Hair Salons in Tucson Arizona

We just got our first order of the Sun Care Line by Rene Furterer.  Shampoo, conditioner and protective oil.  This product is amazing.  The oil protects 90% of the karatin in the hair.  You spray your hair with it before you go in the pool or in the ocean, it is waterproof and also has sun protection.  When you get out you spray your hair again and your hair is fully protected.  The shampoo and conditioner is super hydrating and repairing.  This line is especially great for the environment in Tucson.

We finally got it.  Shagg Hair Salon in Tucson Arizona has received its first shipment of Rene Furterer professional hair care products.  Tami and I have been in the spa and salon business for a combined 30 years and Rene Furterer is the best product line we have ever used.  When Tami opened Bellagio with The Prive Salon Rene Furterer was the product line used.  Shagg is the only Tucson hair salon that carries Rene Furterer.
